 TransMaster is a new translation, localization and DTP services provider based in Egypt. We have established our own mission, policy and strategy which drive our own business forward.

Our services are a mixture of wide, rich and deep experience with advanced technological capabilities. To achieve this goal we use the state-of-the-art translation technologies (CAT systems) and computerized dictionaries and glossaries. It goes without saying that our well experienced translators are of essence.

The localization industry can't be mastered without a Professional Desktop Publishing (DTP) services. We have a dedicated in-house team who are fully dedicated to our clients with 100% accurate DTP services which include: Evaluation, DTP Tidy-Up, Screen Capture, Conversions, Postscript Production, Bitmap Editing, Template creation, PDF Production, Illustration Editing, HTML Generation. Our in-house team of professionals can layout all your documentation in any language using popular layout software like FrameMaker, PageMaker, QuarkXpress and Adobe InDesign. Our engineering experts rebuild your localized products ensuring that they work as well in foreign markets as they do at home. Despite the fact that Arabic is a Right-to-Lift (RTL) language with  characters completely different from Western languages you can rest assured that your documents will appear a carbon copy of their English source thanks to our stringent DTP QA procedures. 

DTP Cycle

Arabic is a RTL language, so it needs special care as regards text positioning, font selection and graphics handling. TransMaster has the necessary resources, tools and expertise to do DTP jobs efficiently. Our DTP specialists adhere to source layout, make required adjustments, yet maintaining the body and spirit of the source documents. With a team fully proficient in Illustrator, PowerPoint, Quark, Photoshop, Pagemaker, FrameMaker and InDesign, we can output documents into virtually all PC and Mac formats. We are also aware of Arabic-specific problems in standard DTP tools and have customized solutions to surpass such problems.

DTP project management

We assign dynamic project managers to care for every little aspect of the project from A to Z. Those PMs are targeted to take your headache away. As DTP jobs vary based on multiple factors including operating system (Mac or PC) and file format, we have to apply a dynamic DTP project management cycle. Our people are the real asset of the company, that's why we are always keen to develop our staff and enhance them with carefully selected, self motivated and innovative members. TransMaster has a full-time team of native translators and a huge database of freelancers, all with university degrees in translation and at least five years of experience in their respective field of expertise. 

Our Project Managers understand what running a project entails. They take responsibility for laying down the project plan. Having excellent communication skills, our project managers are always in touch with the client to follow up the project progress and report any problem that might arise. They work closely with our in-house team to make sure that the project with be delivered on time and with the required quality according to our internal QA system.  

Our DTP Specialists are well experienced in most common DTP applications such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, QuarkXpress, Microsoft Word, etc. If a project encompasses translation or localization and DTP, our DTP specialists and translators cooperate together to produce a masterpiece.
